Commissioned artworks are challenging and exciting to execute.

I believe in close collaboration and open communication with my clients to maximize creativity. I like to immerse myself in the style, culture, and surroundings to explore and capture their desires, possibilities, and expectations. Through open communication, precise briefing, and if possible, a personal meeting or Zoom meeting, I emerge myself to make a highly individual art piece.

Commissioned paper artwork 2021

Titled Sea Swirls is a commissioned artwork for an exquisite private home in the South of Florida, USA. The owners are paper art collectors. The colors used for this artwork were inspired by the blues of the surrounding seas: the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The sea swirls are felt in this artwork’s fluidity, flow, movement, and rhythm.

Colors:

Ultramarine Blue, Aqua Blue, King’s Blue, Greyish Blue, and touches of Emerald Green

Material: hand-torn paper, acrylic, Konjac (Japanese root glue)
